True North Personal Validator is an easy-to-use, desktop version of our XBRL validation engine, allowing you to check taxonomies and XBRL reports for conformance with the XBRL v2.1 specification. Features include:

Specification versions

True North Personal Validator 2006 supports XBRL v2.1, including errata up to the 2005-11-07 release. FRTA validation, and support for the XBRL Dimensional Taxonomies (XDT) recommendation are now available as fully supported modules in True North Personal Validator 2006.

All existing customers are entitled to a free upgrade. If you have previously purchased True North Personal Validator 2006 then you may upgrade your copy by downloading a new evaluation version — you will be able to use the full licence that you have previously purchased with this new download.
